When I am designing a clients home I always say one can never have too many gallery walls and I say this because I have so many in my own home.   I definitely like to balance out wall space with a mixture of art, gallery photo walls, mirrors etc. but for me my most precious real estate space on my walls are my gallery walls.  My family is my rock and my foundation and I am so proud of the family my husband and I have created together so seeing our beautiful memories all around our house brings me the greatest joy.  Today on the blog I am going to show you most of the gallery walls I have in my own home and tell you exactly where to buy your frames without breaking the bank.

The above gallery wall is the first major wall you see when you enter the front door of my home.  I love the simplicity and the classic arrangement of this wall.  These frames are from Target and are 16×20 frames that come in under $20.

I have used these frames in my home for years and for the price they have far exceeded my expectations.

The frames above are displayed over our breakfast nook and this might be one of my favorite gallery walls because it is a wall that displays our family and friends in typically silly photos.  We don’t take ourselves too serious so the wall above is a good reminder of what it is important in life to us which is enjoying life to the fullest and smiling along the way.  If you aren’t having fun and enjoying the journey then what are you doing? It’s a good reality check when things get out of focus.

The photos above are my newest gallery walls at the top of our stairs.  I had these 20×30 custom frames with 11×14 photos done at our local Hobby Lobby store.   The framing department at this store ROCKS and they are always running specials so I paid on average $85 per frame.  If you have ever priced out custom framing and matting of photos then you can appreciate the great pricing for these frames.

These frames are very similar to my frames from Hobby Lobby because they are large scale frames but I found these at one of my favorite stores on the planet, West Elm, and I love these silhouettes I had done on ETSY of my three kiddos.  This is a fun way to display photos of your kids but changing it up artistically.
