Happy New Year Friends. I wanted to start this year off with my Master Bedroom Retreat. This past year one of my favorite projects I got to work on was my own master bedroom. My husband works long hours and wanted to have a workspace in our room so that at night he wouldn’t have to go back to the office; instead he could work at home while still getting to feel like he was have some extra time with me. This sparked a makeover of our space that could previously be described as a dark cave. As much as I don’t love having a desk in our room, I jumped at the chance to have more time with him and I really love how the desk we selected works so well with the style of our room.
Our big holiday gift to each other was also to have this built-in done in our room. My hubby loves built-in cabinetry and I love extra storage to hide stuff so this was the perfect piece to add some warmth.
This photograph of the horses running was one of my best selling prints this past year. I captured these beauties on our summer vacation.
Last but not least, this is probably my favorite corner in the room with silhouettes I had framed of our three kids. I have numerous photos of them throughout our house but this is a fun and artistic way to capture our crew.
